Social Justice is the essential requirement

for interning at Urban VOICE. A commitment to global and local communities is the basis of all our work.

We also ask that interns meet the following criteria:

1. Provide their skills as an unpaid apprentice on a social justice video project
2. Advance their skills through an independent project using UV resources and equipment
3. Participate in cooperative training so the group and the individual become stronger

Experience in video pre-to-post production is desired. However, we're involved in a variety of projects that require a wide range of skills, so all applications are welcome.

Urban VOICE succeeds as a production company thanks to the commitment of its interns and volunteers.

Our goal is to provide a supportive environment where members can develop both creative and practical experience. We also reward some interns financially through income generated by our professional service bureau.
