every generation or so, groups of artists would propose a manifesto of
their beliefs: Impressionists, Cubists, Surrealists, Abstract
Expressionists, for instance. That rarely happens anymore. That is
why I believe what we are doing today, by producing documentaries or
independent movies on shoestring budgets, using digital video, we are
creating our own manifesto."
